Computer Craft is an unreal mod which was never possible before, but one amazing person has made it happen. He added computers to Minecraft. The mod, doesn’t just add a few blocks to the game, it has so much more to it. Plus it also has full multiplayer support.
ComputerCraft adds computers to the game. All of the computers that you craft have an OS, a fully functional file managing system, and a few programs that include text editors and LUA programming language that can be programmed to carry out any operation in minecraft, an example would be: chopping don a tree and instantly creating planks with a few sets of commands. The computers can work with redstone wiring systems and bundled cables, which can be found in the RedPower 2 mod. The beauty of this mod is that it is compatible with every single mod for Minecraft. With this mod, it is possible to fully automate the whole world of minecraft, it is also an amazing reason to learn LUA programming language meaning that this is not only a fun mod, but a fun one too. The possibilities of computers are extended with Disk Drives which can be used to transfer files and music between computers. Wireless modems can be used to create wireless networks, printers to print and other monitors which can be used to create much larger displays.
