Anyone remember before 1.8 when the way mobs spawned was drastically different? Like how friendly mobs spawned in the light rather then just not spawn at all. Spawning is now much less random, their spawns is based on biomes and other many other technical things. It was much more simple before 1.8; hostile mobs would spawn in the dark and friendly mobs would spawn in the light. Simple as can be. Well, a lot of popular mods like Mo’ creatures and Humans+ relied on the old way. The new way makes it almost impossible for them to fit with the old so DrZhark has made us something brilliant. A mod that allows other modders to easily shape how their mobs will spawn. Every mod can now have their own individual spawning list so that other mods won’t interfer; therefore allowing for better compatibility also, brilliant. It makes it much easier to make mods that add a lot of new mobs to the game. For any modders reading this and wanting to know how to use this, go see the thread here.
