Oh how great are these super high definition texture packs, they are so majestic and fun to look at and enjoy yourself in. They make everything look so realistic (in Minecraft terms) to the slightest pixel. These types of textures are fantastic for cinematics and minecraft movies, etc.. You may think that this texture is extremely detailed and that it is a bit… over detailed? Well Cocacape’s texture has a really decent blend of detail from all those extreme high definition packsand significance from the more simpler textures making it quite beautiful. Let’s take a closer look.
As you can see from the image provided, the textures are significant and super smooth. Being a 256x texture it brings a great new type of look for Minecraft rather than the traditional cramped up pixels we call default. It is very easy to see the textures in their true form and compared to the default texture it is a bit hard to recognize but I personally got used to the delicate, detailed look and I love it. The textures in the pack are very similar to the real world, the stone looks like stone. The torches look like actual torches, etc. It is truly a work of art how all these high definition textures come so well together to make this beauty. The lighting is vibrant enough to give it a glowing type of feel that is so easy to look upon. The overall landscape is gleaming with significane and detail.
All of these things come together to make this great work of art. And a great looking texture means a great looking everything. Load up an old/new save and try it out, I bet you that it looks magnificent. The environment is so lush and glowing full of life with it makes it feel really welcome and fun. All of your creations will look stunning with the detail and the glowing environment around you. A really handy texture pack to play around with in videos or just for normal day to day playing.
In my opinion this texture has some close ties with the Defined and Photorealism textures, Thats a great mix in my mind. Defined is for someone who wants some extra detail in their Minecraft and Photorealism is for the high definition textures that really stand out, mix the two of them and out comes a master piece. Cocacape’s texture has the great potential to be one of the best textures for Minecraft. It’s great for cinematics/videos or just normal play. No matter what your needs are I think that you would be satisfied with Cocacape’s texture.

Texture Packs are developed to implement features that will increase a huge, and important feature in which minecraft holds; style. Texture packs were implemented early into the game of minecraft for that reason exactly. It was a large success, almost instantly users/players began to develop their very own, custom texture packs. However, it was only when the more experienced designers began to step up to the task. In turn, these artists would soon develop incredibly well made and unique pieces of work. Soon enough, more and more of these texture packs were pouring into the community. To this day, have texture packs been one of the most popular, and well-loved features in which minecraft holds within it. The Overgrown Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10, developed by Croco15, was developed to not only improve the gameplay experience for the players/users; but also to implement a much better, and well developed texture pack to replace the vanilla Minecraft’s Default texture pack. In the initial development of the Overgrown Texture pack, the creator clearly demonstrates how much effort, time and consideration that has been implemented into the pack. By basing the textures on a unique theme; the developer has managed to achieve by resulting his texture pack as a very unique, and well-looking product of work.
The texture pack is developed at a 32x resolution, making it moderately easy to process. Most computers should be able to run this resolution, however not everyone out there will be able to. Be careful, be smart, when choosing a texture pack. Often when the wrong choice is made, your game could be resulted in lagging or crashing regularly. The theme of the pack, in which has been set as the base idea is Medieval. Using this theme, the creator has cleverly designed and produced the textures in which will replace the Default Texture Pack of Minecraft. Although, the original theme of minecraft without its texture pack feature is actually medieval. So for this particular reason, I think is what makes the Overgrown texture pack incredibly unique. Keeping the same theme from the game of minecraft, and simply implementing better looking, and much more, well developed textures to replace the bland, plane textures.

Texture packs are very unique, and most of them are well developed pieces of work. It takes an experienced artist/designer, in my opinion, to develop such amazing pieces of work. Texture packs such as the WormCraft texture pack, Created and uploaded by WormBurn; implements amazing and incredibly unique textures into the game. They do not only simple change the looks of your ordinary world, but they also act to enhance the gameplay of the game of minecraft. Simply by introducing the player with each individual, brilliant textures.
While developing this extraordinary texture pack, the creator has clearly delved into it. Covering all details, and inserting an incredible amount of effort, time and dedication to the work. When combining the two themes together, Medieval/tribal, and simplistic detail. Even though the texture pack runs a low resolution of 16x; the detail that is resulted in the end is unbelievable. The detail that shows when using the texture pack is so amazing, it really did take my breath away how the artist was able to implement such detail into the texture pack, despite its lower resolution.
Interestingly enough, this texture pack took a long while for it to become very popular. However, and fortunately the creator began to upgrade, edit and develop the texture pack further; attracting a great many players in which would also begin to use the textures continually. As the developer continues to develop this texture pack to the bets of his ability I am certain that the work will continue to grow and thrive with success.
HD texture packs seem to be popular lately. This pack is based on two shades for each block. It has a base color, then two variations on the color. The grass looks like it can cut you, though. Other than the long grass texture, it’s a pretty round pack. The stone texture really looks like stone, rather than random splotches of gray like the default texture for it. I must admit that I do like the point of this pack. It seems like a nice challenge to the maker, and like it would make a pretty quick-running pack for the rest of us. It’s a 64×64 texture pack, though, so I’m not too sure if it’ll lag or not. I do have a couple of complaints about the pack, but they’re small complaints that mostly involve the flower textures. They look identical to the long grass, but they have splotches of whatever color the flower is. Other than that, it’s a really solid pack that I’d recommend to anyone who wants something a little cartony and HD.

A number of people enjoy and use high definition texture packs. Some people like textures lesser than Minecraft’s default. This pack gives you exactly that. It is a step down from Minecraft’s original textures. You can now enjoy x4 textures in your world. Keep in mind that this pack isn’t exactly fancy. It isn’t anything super but its lower resolution textures allow for more FPS. Those with slower computers may want this pack. If you’re just playing on a crowded server this pack could help. Be warned though. All of the mobs get really spooky. That is only my opinion though.
One of the more unsettling side effects of such a low resolution pack is that nothing has eyes anymore! It seems just a little scary.
You can get the version of the pack with the x4 tools and items. I do not think you should. You may come to regret your choice. Luckily there is a version with the default tools and items too.
Kyle’s 4×4 Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 Pros and Cons
Not everyone can have a gaming computer that can run Minecraft at 1,000 FPS. If you want a smoother gameplay you can use this pack. There are plentyof versions that you can get this map in. The Mo’ Creatures support is also nice. I don’t like it but people need it to run Minecraft at an acceptable rate. I would definately not reccomend the version of the pack with the x4 items. They are confusing to figure out and annoying.
Mo’ Creatures support
The ability to smooth your gameplay
Odd but optional x4 textures

Have you ever felt like your world was being taken over by darkness? Ever wonder what life would be like in a place void of color? As the name suggests, RGC Shadowcraft, is filled with shadow and evil. Despair comes to mind when you see this pack. You might be able to compare the art style to that of the movie Sin City.
This picture does a good job of capturing the pack’s feel. Everything is a shade of gray but the redstone. The colors are vibrant and bold against the dark background.
The crops in this picture make a good example of the contrast the pack gives. They are displayed nicely in front of the dark gray background. The scarecrow even seems to be enjoying the crops.
It is sort of scary while playing. There is such little color in a usually colorful game. Everything becomes mysterious and forbidden. Notice the water and how even that is set to the mood of the pack. I’m all for packs that make water look less inviting than in it is in the default textures.
RGC ShadowCraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 Pros and Cons
I loved the movie Sin City. I’m no art student but I can appreciate the contrast of color in a black and white world. I think that this pack has done this in an attractive way that required an amount of time to accomplish. Not too many textures are changed but some people like default and others don’t. This pack set out to great a gloomy feeling in your game and it has. Not a single texture I feel has been done wrong. I can’t see a single thing wrong with this pack other than maybe it makes you feel too sad and detached from reality. Just everything is dark so you might want to turn your brightness up.

Texture Packs such as the FrostWorth Texture Pack have a huge amount of potential. Simply because it has stuck with the simplistic, and lower resolution that is similar to Minecraft’s vanilla, Default Texture Pack. However, when creating textures at such a low resolution like 16x; it’s important that the developer has a good idea of what he/she is creating, the theme, and also has experience in the area. Motivation is everything, and the creator needs much of it in order to create the pack successfully, not to mention create his/her textures to near perfection. Much of a successful Texture Pack would consist of unique designs and also.

The Mine Velvet Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 was originally meant to be a spin off from Minecraft vanilla. The creator, ‘hopper131313’ noticed the lack of modern texture packs in the default resolution. So he decided to make a 16×16 texture pack with smoother, cleaner edges. Hence the name Mine Velvet! Many textures in this pack still have the vanilla faithful theme, but some have changed quite a bit. If you install this pack with OptiFine or MCPATCHER you can gain access to ‘Better Lava’. Overall this texture pack is awesome and there is no reason not download it!
These are all of the newly textured mobs. As you can see, no drastic changes have been made. But simply small changes that spruces up Minecraft. For example, villagers and NPC’s now have green eyes and the zombies look more battle scarred!
These are all of the textured blocks in this pack. Some changes include the fact that Obsidian can now be used as an actual resource. And TNT is now made to look just like C4!

However, this texture pack does nothing more, but that. If you are a person who is on the other side of the hand, you will find this texture pack less charming and interesting.
