If you have been playing Minecraft a very long time like me, then you might remember a certain texture pack that was very popular back in the day named: Ovo’s Rustic’s Texture Pack. This texture pack focused on realism through using darker medieval looking textures. However, if you have realized that it dissapeared it is because it has not been updated since Minecraft 1.0, such a shame! Fear not, because the developer “Toutsimplemain” has continued Ovo’s work with StillCraft for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10!

Personally, I’ve had this problem where I have installed a texture pack because of its general looks, but unfortunately ended with disappointment because of its small detailing features. The Minecraft world looked great with it, but the GUI really disappointed me. It was too dirty! Also, textures of some tools and items were too plain compared to the grandeur looking world. Have you ever had the same experience? Well, then, check this out!
CharlieCraft Texture Pack is a texture pack that will change pretty much everything. Starting from the textures, this texture pack will even change the GUI and so, it will look much neater. The fascination is with the textures of armor. Your armor, whether iron, diamond, leather, or gold, will look so much cooler and fancier. The nature of the Minecraft world will look more natural and healthy with well-grown trees and brightly blossoming flowers. Even the mobs that roam the place will have their new faces. With medieval and ancient styled building materials, your world will be filled up with tall towers and castles. Enjoy the new fire and portal graphics as well!

CharlieCraft Texture Pack For Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 Pros and Cons
This texture pack will allow you to enjoy new and better looking items, blocks, and tools. Those that looked too plain and ordinary in the default setting will look very fancy and attractive. You will also have a neat GUI, which will never leave you confused.
Although, the texture pack will bring many changes, it still has a limit to expressing things in detail as its resolution is at a low band of 16×16.

The CUBEX Texture Pack for minecraft is one of the very few, well developed and unique packs that are available in the known list. Texture Packs are usually based on one or two themes in which the textures will be designed around. When the creator finds an original, or popular theme that he/she is comfortable with developing textures on; the creator must then implement all of his/her experience and passion for the work so that the result becomes not only great, but absolute perfection. Textures that are to replace the original, Default textures of the game of Minecraft must be more developed, and a lot more better looking in order for the player to enjoy them thoroughly. The developer of the CUBEX texture pack: Psycube, has delved into the process of designing and producing wonderful textures. He has done so by taking extreme consideration when perfecting each individual texture. Tiling is crucial when creating a texture pack, ensuring that all textures naturally fit together, not only with the same kind, but also with separate blocks and natural features. The texture pack has been created at a single resolution version of 16x, means that the creator can spend more time to develop, update and fix the textures inside his piece of work. This also allows this spectacular texture pack to be released faster than other texture packs, and also be nicely edited once a Minecraft update is released.
Exploring your previously created, or new worlds has become incredibly more enjoyable. Not only do packs such as the CUBEX Texture Pack work to implement new, wonderful textures, but also work to enhance the gameplay significantly for the players in which already play Minecraft. The natural terrain has been made a lot more admirable than when using the ordinary Default texture pack of Minecraft. Not to mention the custom, player-made buildings and terrain that can be created. The new looks, and new themes seem to give players/users inspirations to build and play the game to fit the new look of their game.

Texture packs are incredibly unique pieces of artwork; usually based on an idea/theme in which the texture pack art will be based around, and built around. Texture packs such as the 4 Real Texture Pack, created and designed by Skyrocket_moon; is an incredibly unique piece of artwork, in other words; a truly magnificent texture pack in all. When developing the pack; the artist has taken time to delve into his work, perfection each individual texture. Insuring that the details have all been covered in the process. The texture pack, in very unique in a variety of different ways. By taking the ordinary textures of the simplistic Default texture pack; the artist has developed a very stylish and beautiful looking, yet still very different, texture pack in which runs in textures at one of the highest resolutions available, 512x. The amazing, lush textures worked absolutely brilliantly with the high resolution; allowing the designer to enhance the detail, and style put into the piece of work.
The 4 Real texture pack is simply soothing to look at, easy to admire and just nice to look at. Obviously, changing texture packs to such a high resolution, well developed, and extremely detailed back, from the simplistic Default texture pack of minecraft can be a very big change. Many players may find the change a little too difficult, or irritating. However, often it is the smarter thing to do is to change texture packs, allowing you; the player, to continually adjust to the newer; more developed packs, And become more experienced with other, unique texture packs out there. The texture packs theme, is medieval; yet still extremely realistic; almost as if minecraft got an upgrade to near as “real life” as possible. The themes combine perfectly with the high resolution, however it is advised that the player insure he/she knows that higher resolution texture packs take up a whole lot of space, and also use a large amount of FPS.

There are a lot of texture packs out there. They range from 1×1 pixels all the way to 4096×4096 pixels. The Delta-NP Smooth texture pack offers a medium between the two. This pack adds more realism to your game without sacrificing the basic idea of “everything is made of blocks”. The tools and blocks of the pack seem realistic and tangible in the game. At first look the pack is a medieval upgrade to Minecraft’s original 16×16 textures with simple, ornate detail. One can appreciate the art style, detail and time spent in artists’ work. The pack comes in a 64×64 and 128×128 version so along with the installation of the pack you’ll need to either install Optifine or use MCPatcher. It appears that Nuttyprot, the now retired texture pack developer, DarksideBD and TempusBD spent the time and effort on this pack to make sure it offers a new, higher definition experience.

The Tekkturepack Texture Pack for Minecraft is an amazing piece of work. The developer has clearly put in an insane amount of effort and consideration into the 128x resolution Texture Pack. It’s name is pretty self explanatory to what this actually is, and seems like quite a comical name to be remembered easily. The Texture’s have been based on an awesome theme, being realistic, yet still slightly cartoony. I get a medieval feeling when I use the Texture Pack on my game. Overall I think that it implements a great and light mood into the world that I am currently playing. I think that this affect would be on everyone, as it’s simply such an admirable Texture Pack to use, no matter what genre you’re looking for.

The JapangaCraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 is made by the developer: ‘MCJapanga’. He has claimed to be working on this pack on the side for a little bit of a long time, and after much deliberation he has decided to complete it and release it for personal use, and I am glad he did. This texture pack is beautifully created, and although it is only 16×16, its minimal detail and luminous colouring has made this one of the stand out texture packs of this year!
JapangaCraft Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 Main Features
Although this texture pack is only 16×16 and does not focus on realism, it uses techniques such as similar coloring and minimal design to really stand out! One thing that I have noticed upon inspection is the detail that the developer has put into mobs and NPCS.
For example, the zombies in game now have rips in their trousers, bright white eyes and blood all over their hands. Small details such as these makes this pack different from any I have seen before.
The developer has also textured the NPC villagers in different ways, with each one sporting a different costume!

Hello fellow player! Today, we bring to you a 4×4 resolution texture pack! Before you turn around thinking it’s all crap, spend some time and have a look. Blizzard(the creator)’s intention is to create a texture pack for those people with bad graphics cards who wants a high frame rate (fps), in other words something that won’t lag the chicken out of their computer, so please don’t judge on its details. You might be thinking, how good can a 4x texture pack be. That’s what I thought, but after having a glance at the screenshots, it doesn’t look that bad at all (for a 4x ofcourse). Not that there are many, but this is one of the best 4x texture packs I’ve seen.
As you can see, it’s not that rough at all… Keep in mind its a 4x pack! However, that doesn’t mean people with supercomputers can’t use it. You might wanna have that 4x session every once in a while, haha. Personally, this texture pack doesn’t look bad to me but I’d rather stick to what I already have since I’m quite that person who likes some details on my blocks. But if you don’t mind, go ahead and give Blizzard’s 4×4 Texture Pack a go, you might turn out liking it! Have a nice day 🙂

An original texture pack, kept faithful to the default Minecraft textures. This is what Ayji’s texture pack is about. While resembling the default looks of Minecraft, they have been greatly improved and a lot of items and block textures were changed to fit in with the warm environment that the texture pack creates.
Pleasing little things are what users usually look to because they subconsciously uplift and cheer up the players mood. Ayji has added pleasing farm textures, which look quite realistic. With improved farm textures, the wooden planks and cobble stone have been styled to look more realistic and smooth. All of these tiny additions and designs contribute to the whole atmosphere of the texture pack and to make it a very pleasing and light pack.
People love this, and it is a favorite for many and that is easily explained, the texture pack looks stunning and very smooth. No rugged textures or un-finished item designs, everything is complete and looks amazing.

This texture pack is one of the biggest texture pack you could ever download, however this is one of the most artistic texture pack you would be seeing in a long time too. This was 100% made from the author himself without any modification from any other mod or texture packs. The author start this mod with a pixel art of blocks in which was already given to you during the minecraft open beta in its first day! Now everything have evolved into a great pack. This texture pack has a warm, springish, rustic, whimsical and a slight medieval background which fits perfectly with the minecraft theme. This texture pack is from a 16x pack and is very easy to install.
