Blueberry Swiss Roll Texture Pack 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10

Before I start, I have to say the reason this texture pack have caught my attention is because of its name. C’mon how often do you see a texture pack named after stuff like this. The Blueberry Swiss Roll Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 was created by Liuhuparta. He’s one of those players who went on a journey to find a texture pack that responds to his personal likes and couldn’t find any…….and so he created one of his own. This Blueberry Swiss Roll falls into the colorful cartoonish category. Everything was hand drawn by the guy himself from ground up. However some particles are from Mojang’s default.

[yframe url=’http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUZSsFB950s’]

This texture pack can also categorized as a clean one as you might have noticed. It carries a uniform look that many texture packs lack of. ¬†For a 16x texture, I say it’s very well done. However, many things like wheat are too brightly colored. The splashy green grass also reminds me of Terraria (why, I don’t know). Overall, this Blueberry Swiss Roll pack is somewhat vibrant and colorful, although too bland. If you have not seen the Youtube video above, I suggest you do it before you download. You might like it or you may not. Have a look a see for yourself ūüôā

BearPack Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10

BearPack Texture Pack is a double resolution pack for Minecraft that has subtle changes to the look of the game.  What is perhaps most noticeable is the textures look a lot more solid and smooth.  The wood textures for example, the grain and knots are a lot more muted, giving it a more pleasant look when its on your home.  Glowstone, cobblestone, grass and many more textures are given a much cleaner feel to them which really makes the textures feel brighter and friendly.

BearPack Texture Pack

An example of the grass, wood, brick and cobble textures with their more subtle feel. ¬†The color palette has been tightened so the textures don’t look as jarring.

Here you can see all of the textures, and this theme of being more subtle is all through the texture pack.  Some larger differences are the doors, ore, redstone and glowstone.  They have been changed a lot compared to others.

Thistle Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10

Hi guys! Are you ready for a texture pack named after the creators dog?…Thistle’s the name. Yes that’s right. Here’s a brief story behind why Thistle created the Thistle Texture Pack: The dog sits by his feet while playing Minecraft, hence the name. ūüôā Now let’s get back to the texture pack! Well Thistle (the creator) claims that he loves highly detailed texture packs. Unable to find one after a long search, he decides to create his first texture pack, and this is the product. As stated above, Thistle loves ornate things, so rest assured that his 32x Thistle Pack will be filled with minute details. Here it is:

Thistle Texture Pack

Do you like it now? Honestly, for a first texture pack, this Thistle Pack is very well designed and done. Even better than many of them out there in the cloud. And the creator kept his words, the blocks are detailed while the clean look is maintained. I also like how the creator kept balance of the color tones. It doesn’t make the world a tad too dark or a little to bright. Although, sometimes it confuses me as to which block is which. But I’m sure you’ll get the hang of that after some time. Of all seriousness, I say the Thistle ¬†texture pack deserves a lot more views and downloads, so why not guys? Give Thistle a go !

Diary of a Wimpy Steve Texture Pack 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10

The Diary of a Wimpy Steve Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 is a pack that is dedicated to bringing the player a unique and different style of textures! This mod is created by the ‘larperdoodle’, and is still under development as I writing this. The concept of this pack is to give the players textures that look like they could have been drawn in ‘your school notebook’. This means for the most part they are scribbled , messy, but have a certain strange charm about them.

This Texture Pack make minecraft a better place (wait… better?) with more traps and more sharp things added. There are lots of premade aztechs that will make adventuring and exploring more thrillsome for minecrafters. The breeze in this texture pack kind of brings you to the optimistic side of “tomb rider” (and old but always sexy movie) where you can find all the beautiful treasures or be unfortunate enough to bring your self in a crocodiles mouth.

If you try to download this texture pack and “forgot” that you didn’t download the HD patcher the you’ll find yourself or a brick with fires and some mushrooms growing on them (which is so damn cool!!), just to let you know there is nothing wrong with this patch if those things happen.

Synthetic Photorealism Texture Pack 1.11, 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10

Never in my time of playing minecraft have I seen such an amazing texturepack. It doesn’t take a lot to make a texturepack great, it’s really the effort and hard work the artist has implemented into it. The Synthetic Reality Texturepack for minecraft 1.10.2, 1.9.4 and 1.8.9, is amazingly realistic, hence the texturepacks name. By using one of highest resolutions for a texturepack, that is available at the moment, and combining this with extraordinary photography. Both of these particular features have been used together to form an intensly realistic texturepack. However the artist has introduced such detail in a very unique way. He has still managed to also introduce a more dark, and medieval feel to the pack also.

The Synthetic Reality texturepack for minecraft 1.10.2, 1.9.4 and 1.8.9,¬†is an extraordinaty texturepack. The artist of this amazing texturepack has introduced many new motivated features into minecraft, simply by changing the default textures that minecraft originally comes with. However, when changing these textures that have been done so with extreme consideration and effort. By using resolutions that range from one of the lowest to one of the highest available, this texturepack has been made to suit every single interested user. However, for the name ‚ÄúSynthetic Reality texturepack‚ÄĚ, to become ‚Äúreality‚ÄĚ it is recommended that you use a higher resolution version of the pack. This will insure that the texturepack is allowed to work its magic, and improve gameplay, to a whole new level.

Synthetic Photorealism Texture Pack

Synthetic Photorealism Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.10.2, 1.9.4 and 1.8.9 Main Features

This texturepack will not only introduce an amazing amount of detail; but also introduce multiple feels, and themes into gameplay. By using a more dark, medieval theme and then combining it with the realistic high def- photo realism aspect, it not only introduces these themes extremely well, but also does it with extreme detail. It makes minecraft look, and feel completely different. Not only this, but it will also make everything so much more fun to admire, explore and simply build in.

A high quality texturepack, can sometimes be too detailed. This will not always occur in every texturepack, but often enough I will encounter a texturepack in which looks far to realistic for the initial game. This is simply a personal preference of my own, however I believe this texturepack has not gone over the line when adding the amazing detail into the pack. The Synthetic Reality texture pack changes every single, block, item, food, terrain and much more, and result the user by replacing the original textures with amazing new ones. Those of which are beutfully done and wonderful to look at. It soon enough becomes harder and harder to switch back to default after you have begun using the Synthetic Reality Texturepack.

Usage

When using this texturepack you will have to simply install the correct resolution for you. The higher the resolution of the texturepack the more FPS usage it will use up on your game. When chosing the correct resolution for your texturepack, be smart and use common sense. If you think your computer cannot handle an extremely detailed texturepack, or maybe your computer is already so very slow. When using this texturepack you will have to download and use a foreign program that will be used to patch your texturepack. It is recommended that you get optifine rather than the mcpatcher program, seeing as the optifine mod, decreases the amount of FPS usage by a high definition texturepack and also will automatically patch your texturepacks, allowing you to instantly have access to certain texturepacks without having to manually patch them every time you decide to install another.
