Texture packs can often be a skilled piece of work. Not only do they work to simply change the default textures of the game of Minecraft; but they also work to implement a new sense of feeling. This often leads to a new type of gameplay enhancing feature, in which can only be found in this genre of game features. The Gothic Texture Pack for Minecraft, developed by Lotron at a 64x resolution is a very well-made piece of artwork. In the initial development process of the Texture Pack, the creator has clearly devoted a huge amount of time and effort when it came to presenting the new textures in detail. The textures that have been newly implemented give out a new sense of gameplay feel to your world. When using the pack, a much more darker theme has been set upon almost every texture originally implemented in the game of Minecraft. When exploring your world of Minecraft, simply taking the time to just admire what is now in front of you may even become a necessity to you. The textures in which have been implemented are not simply made to just make your world more gloomy, or dark; but also to allow the user/player to enjoy the game so much more than he/she would have originally.
The Texture Packs high resolution means that not every single computer would be able to run it as best as possible. However, the texture pack resolution is not the highest resolution, meaning the texture pack will affect FPS, however not to the extent of occasional crashing. Credit must be given to the developer of the texture pack as he has gone over an intense amount of detail, delving deep into the work process. In result, the work has turned out to be a very good success, not to mention barely any easy to notice errors in the pack. The detail shown in the end result is extraordinary, and as the creator continues to fix, edit and update the pack; the textures in which are to be implemented will continually improve as time goes on.
