Misa’s Realistic Texture Pack 1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.7.2

Last updated 2014-09-03 14:17:03

Texture packs are designed based around usually an individual idea in which the actual pack will be developed around. Often the end result will be labelled something similar to a piece of art. Texture pack artists try to implement a feel to the game. In saying this I mean; the texture pack theme usually has to make the player think differently, or act in a different way then he or she would usually. For example; if the texture pack’s theme has been set to a medieval theme; the user of the texture pack should feel a significant change to he/she’s game and also play differently overall. A great texture pack artist would remember this key idea when creating a pack. Usually developers of great texturepacks such as the Misa’s realistic texturepack; usually are experienced with artwork or the creation of a texture pack, and when starting the process of the initial design of the pack; they have a good idea about the theme or setting in which the texturepack will be based around.

Misa's Realistic Texture Pack

The Misa’s Realstic Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 has been designed to fit only one resolution version. Being a high resolution this could be a slight problem for some players/users. However, in saying this; the texture pack artist has only developed, updated and improved this one version of the texturepack. Some texturepacks have a list of different resolutions, ranging from the lowest to highest. In many ways can this be helpful, and good for players. However it can be equally disappointing or frustrating. The reason being, simply because often a texturepack will take almost twice as long to update just because there are so many versions the developer has to individually update. However, the Misa’s Realistic texture pack is available in a 64x resolution version. This is a higher definition resolution for a texturepack. However most players should be able to run this texture pack. However in saying this, it may use a lot of FPS when processing or using the texturepack in game, so you have been warned.

Misa’s Realistic Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 Features

The Misa’s realistic texture pack is based around a singular theme. This individual feature implements an amazing feeling into the game. By combining a medieval, RPG theme; and then combining it with an almighty sense of realistic texturing; the artist has taken it to the next level on the creation of this texturepack. This is the main reason why the texture pack stands out above the rest of the texturepacks that I have seen, and for the same reason why this texturepack remains one of my favourites.Misa's Realistic Texture Pack

The texturepack itself makes gameplay feel and look completely different. Even though the texturepack has only replaced the original, default textures minecraft has in the first place; it almost feels like the game has been completely changed into some new and amazing, realistic game. You get the feeling of when you have just opened a gift, that amazing feeling of when you finally receive something you have been dying for. The textures the pack implement into the game have been changed significantly compared to the default texture pack. However these new textures are still recognisable and the old textures are still easily identified.

Misa’s Realistic Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.8, 1.7.10 and 1.7.2 Usage

High resolution texture packs are amazing in almost every way. It just sums up the finished result, turning a great piece of artwork, into an amazing piece of artwork. However all high definition texture packs require a foreign program or mod to patch the texture pack. These patchers are required for the texturepack to work. Patchers are easy to find, use and overall are very affective. Without a patcher, the texturepack would result looking buggy, glitch and some textures may not exist at all. Animations such as fire, water, lava, and torches will probably no longer work at all, simply resulting in a blank white texture. Patchers only need to be used once and will not change any gameplay features, or harm any mods you may have installed onto your game. Links to the 2 patchers will be in the installation instructions.
