Project Red Lighting Mod
Project Red Lighting Mod for Minecraft 1.8.9 Main Features
The Project Red Lighting Mod is a mod in which is included in the Project Red Mod overhaul. Project Red Mod contains a huge amount of useful and well developed features that range from new mechanics to altering Minecraft’s current ones. It does so by implementing new items, blocks and systems such as wires, lights and pipes into the game to give the game a more technological feel as well as providing players with new things to learn and do. The Project Red Lighting Mod obviously covers the new lighting blocks in which can be created to light up your worlds in style with fully customizable, multicolored lighting systems. These lights work fantastically with the other features of the mod such as wires which act as a replacement mechanic for redstone, and can let players scale vertical surfaces rather than having to cover only flat areas and tangled redstone networks. The lights that have been newly added into the game range from different variations of lanterns and lamps all with their own color variables.
Also implemented into the game when using this mod are more different things such as new block types, tree’s, items and even equip’s such as backpacks and tools that can be used to harvest the new ore and mineral types, like basalt. Ultimately, everything in the mod is useful for both grinding for better items from the mod and also vanilla Minecraft.
Project Red Lighting Mod for Minecraft 1.8.9 Usage
Once the Project Red Lighting Mod has been installed for Minecraft 1.8.9 all that really needs to be known is the different features, their functions and the correct recipes for the different features. Although most of the information about using the mod is going to be covered, a more detailed explanation, along with instructions of every feature of the mod can be found here. Project Red Lighting is divided into five main categories, which will be described below:
Integration: This category includes implementing micro blocks and other redstone esque systems such as the logic gate which is a small tile that can be used to create more compact and complex redstone systems/constructions.
Transmission: Wires are implemented within this section, producing a new kind of system similar to redstone and allowing players to create more complex power systems that can climb walls, get in narrower eariers and create a multitude of unique contraptions.
Transportation: Following the route of Minecraft’s current dropper and hopper blocks, Project Red Lighting implements a unique transportation system by using new pipe items which allow the automated transportation of items to and from different areas, chests and other contraptions. Because the mod is so compatible with other ones, it’s a great feature to have when using other technological mods as well.
Exploration: Ultimately the exploration aspect of the mod aims to brighten up your ordinary Minecraft worlds with more variations of natural occurrences like tree’s and landscapes. It does this by implementing a new variation of different colored trees, new ore’s that can be mined, smelted and used in crafting. These materials are all useful (not to mention look great) in crafting things such as tools and weapons which are implemented in the features of the Project Red Mod pack.
Illumination:The main focus of this article is the lighting aspect of the Project Red Mod pack. It involves a selection of different craftable light sources in which each have 16 color variations that are changed by using different wool colors. This aspect of the mod contains Lamps, lanterns, illumar buttons, cage lamps and fixtures. All produce different kinds of lights, have different recipes and can attatch themselves to different surfaces. The recipes are the following:
