How to Install RailCraft Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, 1.7.2 and 1.6.4

  1. Download Forge
  2. Go to Start Menu, type in %appdata% and search for .minecraft
  3. Find the minecraft.jar and open with WinRAR (or similar software)
  4. Delete META-INF
  5. Place Forge files inside the minecraft.jar
  6. Run Minecraft to create the Mods folder and close Minecraft
  7. Navigate to your “.minecraft” folder and locate Mods
  8. Place the entire Railcraft zip into the Mods folder
  9. Run minecraft and you are ready to go
