How to Downgrade Minecraft 1.2.3 to 1.1

Now Minecraft 1.2.3 has been released there is still a lot of servers out there on 1.1, and for some time now them servers will remain on Minecraft 11 as they need to wait for plug ins to update and bukkit to update so they can play on Minecraft 1.2.3. So the only way to play on a server while the servers aren’t up to date is by downgrading your Minecraft.jar to Minecraft 1.1. For this you will need a fresh Minecraft.jar. Feel free to pass this article around to your friends and play on servers with your friends as normally when there has been big Minecraft update like this the servers are pretty empty and you are free to do what you want. You can also use this method of downgrading to play and use mods that currently aren’t updated to Minecraft 1.2.3
