The Resource Loader is a program for Minecraft that is more commonly used with other mods such as the Custom Main Menu mod. It allows for the easy and efficient important of textures and other resources into the game instead of using an ordinary resource pack. The Resource Loader allows for individual textures to be imported into the game in multiple ways and override default textures to allow for complete customisation over the game, including other features of the game such as main menu tabs, textures. The program is perfect for adding things into the game to create an amazing map, or a mod launcher- allowing for all of the textures of the game to be added individually or in groups.
Resource Loader for Minecraft 1.9.4, 1.8.9 and 1.7.10 Usage
Using the Resource Loader is surprisingly easy, being designed to allow for easy and fast importing of resources. It’s job is to work as an addition for modders or those who are looking to important and change specific features of the game, ranging from in game block textures, weather, animation, sound or even the textures of the main menu and various other UI aspects. Upon installing the Resource Loader to your game, and launching, you can find a folder called “Resources” at %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft which is where you will be going to to install any resources with the Resource Loader. From here, everything is quite straight forward, assuming that the user has the resources at hand.
If you want to use the Resource Loader and still use ordinary Resourcepacks, it’s important that you create a new folder called “oresources” in the same place that the “Resources” folder is. Any resource that is placed inside the “oresources” folder will override any other texture- but this can be customized accordingly by the user to create different layers and methods to use both custom textures and resourcepacks at the same time.
